SquallyDoc back up

Sorry for the downtime everyone.  I’ve had some problems with my previous web hosting service and have just setup with a new hosting provider.  Please bear with me as I migrate over to my new hosting service.  It may take me a bit to work out all the new kinks.

Thanks for your patience.

Retune and ejurgensen’s version of forked-daap

All,

I would like to announce that Retune now works an improved version of forked-daap. I’ve worked with the developer, ejurgensen, to add supported.

ejurgensen’s version of forked-daap is specifically geared to Raspberry Pi’s; however, you can build it for any Linux distro. I’ve been using it with Ubuntu myself. ejurgensen has greatly improved upon the initial forked-daap implemented and has updated it to match iTunes 10.

You can find more information about it on his Raspberry Pi forum post here: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=66&t=49928

And at the GitHub repo here: https://github.com/ejurgensen/forked-daapd

Give forked-daap a try, it works great.

Retune now in Spanish and Italian

I’ve just posted Retune v3.5.15 for everyone. This version includes bug fixes and new translations.

I’d like to give a big special thanks to both Armando Lozano Gallegos and Mario Nicolas Cappello for helping translate Retune. Armando helped with the Spanish translation and Mario with the Italian translation. I hope my Spanish and Italian speaking users appreciate their efforts.

Again thank you Armando and Mario!

Retune now with iTunes Radio support!

I just pushed a new version of Retune today. It should be up in a couple hours. So what’s new this time? The big new feature is iTunes Radio support. This does require iTunes 11.1. Now you can create stations and view all your stations in your iTunes Library.

Other new features include:

Bug fixes
iTunes Radio support (iTunes 11.1 required)
Create Genius playlist from any song (iTunes 11.1 required)
Rearrange Up Next list by dragging album art (enable in settings)
Support for Android devices using wired Ethernet ports
Ability to sort by date added
I hope everyone enjoys the new update!

Retune 3.1.7 has been released

I’d like to announce that Retune v3.1.7 has been released. This version contains better handling of WIFI disconnects/connections and other defect fixes. The build also contains two new features. They are:

Basic support for the AVRCP protocol. Great for those with Pebble Watches and Galaxy Gear watches.
Integration with Music Boss for Pebble.
You can find more information about Music Boss for Pebble here:
http://www.rebootsramblings.ca/musicbossforpebble/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ca.rebootsramblings.musicboss
I would like to thank the developer of Music Boss, Reboot Ramblings, for working with me to add support.

I hope everyone enjoys the new update!
